The girls were drawn in a difficult section for the annual Year 10 tournament at RGS, however, they arrived with a fantastic attitude and were very keen to play. The team showed tremendous determination throughout all games, coming third in their section and qualifying for the semi-finals against Gosforth A. Despite the girls putting up a good fight, they did not progress to the finals.
Well done to the Year 10 team! They showed a valiant effort and achievement in qualifying for the semi- finals, and I look forward to building on their achievements in the coming season.
Player of the tournament was Rose Nicholson for her consistent shooting and supportive attacking play.
