As Christmas approaches we are all probably rushing around trying to get everything in place to make this one the best yet. We go and buy lots of lovely things to give to the people we love. We buy special food and drink to celebrate with and we spend hour upon hour wrapping gifts for the special people in our lives. Do we stop to think about the joy we are bringing to the lives of others? Are we the light to others? Do we shine light and illuminate things around us? This Advent we will be exploring the themes of the Advent Wreath-Hope, Peace, Love and Joy. We will be reflecting on where these themes are found in Christmas story and also in our world today. Advent and Christmas are a time of us to think about how can we be the hope to others. How can we bring peace, love and joy to others?
